Discuss the Ghostbusters Comic from IDW, as well as the now defunct Ghostbusters: Legion series.

Cools. Weird they're releasing the first issue of four 2 days before Frozen Empire comes out. I guess logistics was an issue and they couldn't start it in December anymore when the movie was delayed. Ideally, December to March, then boom watch the movie 2 days later would've been perfect.

Here's the variant cover for #1.

I read Blue Delliquanti's O Human Star while it was largely still being published... It was a good, complex story of identity on a number of different levels (gender, sexuality, and transcending death through a digital copy of your mind), and well-illustrated... While maintaining a simplified colour palette (which differed in colour to delineate scenes taking place in the present and the past).

While Blue is only providing the illustrations this time, I'm looking forward to seeing her interpretation of the Ghostbusters universe. :)

I'm not familiar with Mildred Louis's work, but her colouring looks eye-catching: LINK.

As for Blue Delliquanti:

I interpreted "changing family dynamics" as Gary becoming a part of their lives and by extension, learning to work together as a GB team. Maybe the comic will broach their first call they got as a team.

I rather like option B: Phoebe surrounded by a street full of ghosts, and option C: the team standing beneath a city skyline with sinister faces rendered in the building lights.

All really great options. But seems it came down to Callie and Gary being featured prominently in the #2 covers whereas it was Phoebe on one and Trevor on the other for #1. Curious to see what the next will be, well we'll soon enough in a month's time.
