Greetings,

Can the faux gas mask cover on the wand/ pack loom connector hose be removed and if so is there still loom under it or does this rubber cover part of the electronics? I had wanted to simply cut it off but I'm not planning on replacing it with the real thing I just want the pack to look more classic. Anyone done this?, any issues for the wand/ pack connection after via lights/ sounds interface issues?

Yes you can cut it off without affecting the connector although you may need to use a knife or spudger to prise it off the cap where its glued. There is loom underneath.

Thank you kindly Gentlemen. Did you guys just use some scissors or a hobby knife? I like the black tape over the residue left on it. I might keep that last part of the cover on and cut the rest of it off.
